What A Tart


The second of it's kind, this time with strawberries on top to hide the mush of rhubarb below. I haven't managed to get my rhubarb slices looking as perfect as the recipes photo, yet. Luckily there's a few more sticks in the garden waiting for me to practice on!

In an attempt to cut out some of the bad stuff, since this baking kick isn't wearing off, I used spelt flour for the crust & coconut sugar for the rhubarb syrup/stew. Tastes just as good if you ask this refined sweet tooth!
