Silly Season

Happy Silly Season! Presents are yet to be made, still have to get our tree from a local farm and stockings are waiting to be stuffed & hung. Uh oh!

Cabin Fever

It's full steam ahead on Rupert's latest addition, a lovely little Cabin that will soon become our home studio. The clever boy has been spending every spare minute hammering, nailing, cutting and drilling this dream into the real world! It's a beauty. I can foresee lots of days spent working away in there, drinking tea & staring out into the garden through the big old windows. Heaven!

And Then There Were Three

About four days after my last post, our gumnut arrived unexpectedly..two weeks early, proving to be just as impatient as his mama! That's right, a gorgeous fella, just as I suspected all those months ago. In six short hours (and without any painkillers..wow-weeee was that an experience!) little Mr Sydney was in our arms & just two hours after that we were back home, just the three of us. Talk about a whirlwind!

In a few days he will be a whopping three months old..I can't quite believe how the time is flying. Needless to say I don't spend much time in front of computers these days so bare with me as I find my mama feet & figure out how to tear myself away from my lovely boy & return to blogland. Might be a while!

ps. We have decided to keep our boy off the internets, just our personal preference. Trust me, he's a beauty, even if I am slightly bias!

The Gumnut

We are eagerly awaiting our little gumnut's arrival, only a few short weeks to go...eeeek! I've been a busy bee with finishing up work (so long 9-5!), getting the house in order (wow-weee are they spot on with the whole nesting thing, I've been on cleaning/organizing rampages!) & finally getting my Canadian drivers license, which I celebrated by driving me & my big belly to the local pool to swim some laps..heaven. The gumnut's room is ready to go, I hope he/she likes their new nest!

Three

Over a month since my last post, I'm not so good at this blogging thing lately. You see, I'm working on a BIG project. My (our, I should say) biggest yet. In just under two months our little house of two will become three! I can't wait to meet our little lion. Hopefully I'll manage another post soon, in between naps & avocado eating frenzies!

Still Here

Hello 2012, your looking good! And yes I'm a little late. Tsk, tsk. This new year got off to quite the start, to say the very least! Big changes abound, exciting & scary at the same time. I've been spending lots of time here, watching the new buds bloom & willing summer to come on out! Not long to go now. More updates soon, now that I've broken my blog drought! It's nice to be back.
